Unlike our sun, many stars in the universe are part of a binary star system that orbit each other. This is my impression of a planet that may exist in such a system. Luminees, aliens with translucent bodies, hatch from energy filled eggs. Encased in crystalline shells, they absorb the planet's glow, emanating orange hues before giving birth to new Luminees into a vivid, exotic world.
